We spent two decades working separately in the construction industry across Washington County, PA. Each of us ran into the same problem over and over: contractors treated every job the same way, whether it was someone's kitchen or someone's entire home addition. There was no difference in attention, no real partnership with the homeowner. So about five years ago, we decided to merge and do it differently. Flatline Services became the place where we could actually do the work the way we believed it should be done.

We started with roofing and decks because that's where we knew every material, every seam, every mistake contractors make. But homeowners kept asking us about kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, and larger renovations. Instead of saying no, we learned those trades the same way we'd learned roofing: by doing the work ourselves, listening to what goes wrong, and adjusting. Five years in, we're still learning.

What Twenty Years Taught Us
